Findings In Back Pain Patients Referred For Upright MRI

Positional MRI has been developed to provide images of the spine under true weight bearing conditions which relies on an MRI scanner with a vertically open configuration. There is a lack of information about whether weight bearing scans confer any additional useful information for low back conditions and research so far has been unhelpful.
